Prof. Dr. Monika Köppl-Turyna is Director of EcoAustria. Her research focus is on economic issues concerning public finance, distribution, and political economy. Köppl-Turyna received her doctorate in 2011 from the University of Vienna. From 2011 to 2015, she was Assistant Professor at the Lisbon University Institute, before being Senior Economist at Agenda Austria. She is a member of scientific board of the Rudolf-Sallinger Fonds and Klimarat der Bürgerinnen und Bürger. In 2020, she received her habilitation from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. In the 2021 ranking of the most influential economists in Austria, published by Presse/FAZ/NZZ, she holds rank 5. Moreover, Monika Köppl-Turyna holds a professorship at the Privatuniversität Schloss Seeburg.

Clemens Wasner is a co-founder and chairman of AI Austria, an independent association dedicated to promoting AI in Austria and the CEO of EnliteAI, an Austrian AI startup. He organizes the AAIC - Applied AI Conference, the largest B2B conference series for Applied AI in Europe and serves as an active board member of the European AI Forum. Recently, he was elected as the Vice President of ADRA, the Public Private Partnership of the European Commission for AI, Data, and Robotics.

Pierre-Alexandre Balland is a French economist and one of Europe’s leading experts on complex systems, the future of cities, artificial intelligence and blockchain
technologies. He is a Professor at Utrecht University and previously held positions at MIT and UCLA. He is a Visiting Professor at the Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute and a research fellow at the Center for Complex Systems Studies. Pierre-Alex is also a high-level policy expert that currently serves in the ESIR group to advise the European Commission on innovation policy.

Fabian Stephany is a Departmental Research Lecturer in AI & Work at the Oxford Internet Institute (OII), University of Oxford, a Research Affiliate at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in Berlin and a Fellow at the Brussels-based Think Tank Bruegel. Leading the SkillScale Project, Fabian investigates the emergence of new skills and sustainability of novel occupations in times of technological disruption.

Florian Tursky is State Secretary for Digitalization at the Ministry of Finance and currently coordinates issues relating to digitalization, information technology and telecommunications in Austria, as well as at the level of the European Union and internationally. Prior to assuming this post, he was Head of Office of Tyrol’s State Governor from 2018 to 2022 and press officer from 2017 to 2018. Before that, he was CEO of 3D-Elements, a start-up company in 3D printing, and gained experience in the private sector as regional manager of P8 Marketing. He studied public relations and integrated communication in Krems, Austria.

Alexander Wahler is CEO and co-founder of the high-tech start-up Onlim. Onlim was founded in 2015 as a spin-off from the Technical University of Innsbruck. As CEO of Onlim, Wahler is responsible for business development and investor relations. He has many years of experience as a successful entrepreneur in the Saas industry and has deep expertise in semantic technologies and conversational AI. Wahler earned his academic degree from the Vienna University of Technology. He completed his master's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on communications engineering.

Hermann Erlach has been the General Manager of Microsoft Austria since May 2021. His goal in this role is to drive the modernization and digitalization of the location and to make this progress a positive experience for all Austrians. Since 2015, Erlach has been a member of the management board at Microsoft Austria. Back then, he joined the company as the head of the Enterprise Services division. Before his work at Microsoft, Mr. Erlach held various management positions at international management consultancies such as Capgemini Consulting and Booz & Company.

Thomas Arnoldner studied business management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Stockholm School of Economics. He started his professional career at Alcatel Austria and became CEO of Alcatel Lucent Austria in 2013. From 2015-2016, after Nokia acquired Alcatel-Lucent, he was a member of the integration team and developed the post-integration strategy for the combined company. From 2016-2017, he led Nokia's European growth strategy or several business areas and markets. From 2017-2018 he was a member of the executive board of T-Systems Austria GesmbH.
From 2018 to 2023 Thomas Arnoldner was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the A1 Group. As of 1 September 2023, he assumed the function of Deputy CEO.

Karin Mair is the Managing Partner for Financial Advisory & Risk Advisory at Deloitte Austria. She advises both national and globally operating organizations in the areas of compliance and risk management, as well as corporate financing. Additionally, she provides support to companies during crisis situations. Her areas of focus include Financial Crime, IT & Cyber Security, as well as strategic, operational, and regulatory matters.

Michael Zettel studied Business Informatics at the TU Wien and Leeds University. After starting his career at Accenture, he worked for the Austrian promotional bank (AWS) and a US technology company. Upon returning to Accenture, he was appointed as the Country Managing Director in June 2016.
